# Lonja Navigation Chrome
Chrome is everything on the page that is not the article: the masthead, the running head, the folio
strip along the foot. CatchLaw's chrome must be quiet enough that Khalid never reads it and fixed

zone and currency chips — never the routes behind them.
Read the reference for the task at hand:
- `references/nav-anatomy-and-states.md` — the five destinations, bar metrics, selected-state signal
stack, glove mode, night and sunlight values, masthead anatomy, verdict takeover.
- `references/chips-and-currency.md` — zone chip, rules-checked chip, staleness escalation, date
formats, chip metrics, chevron mirroring, banned chip copy.
Run `scripts/check_lonja_nav.sh` before a PR.
