# Song Brief Builder Turn a loose musical idea into an original, actionable brief that a producer, songwriter, or music-generation system can use. ## Establish the Core Define five anchors: - **Purpose:** where the track will be used and what it must make the listener feel. - **Emotional movement:** starting feeling, turning point, and ending feeling. - **Sonic world:** genre, era cues, core instruments, and production texture. - **Motion:** tempo range, rhythmic feel, and energy curve. - **Voice:** instrumental or vocal; if vocal, range, language, delivery, and lyric point of view. Avoid asking for imitation of a living or identifiable artist. Translate references into musical characteristics instead: instrumentation, era, mix, tempo, and emotional tone. ## Arrange for Change Sketch the track as a sequence of energy states, not just section labels: ``` 0:00–0:15 Establish the world 0:15–0:45 Introduce movement or tension 0:45–1:15 Deliver the emotional peak 1:15–end Resolve, transform, or leave a deliberate question ``` Adjust timing to the requested duration. Every section should introduce, remove, or transform at least one musical element. ## Output Format Return: 1. A one-paragraph creative brief. 2. An arrangement map with timestamps or section lengths. 3. A ready-to-use generation or production prompt. 4. If lyrics are requested, a hook plus a short lyric direction—not a full lyric unless asked. ## Quality Check Make sure the brief identifies a distin
