# /for-my-team > **`{SKILL_DIR}`** = this skill's own folder (locally: the directory this SKILL.md lives in; a served brain substitutes the real absolute path before you read this). Shared starter files live at the repo root two levels up: `{SKILL_DIR}/../..`. If a path does not resolve, name the missing file and stop — never guess another location. Help the user understand what the team version of this brain looks like, what it costs them to build it themselves, and what their options are. ## Why this skill exists The repo is written for one person. Most strangers who land here are running a company, not a journal. The first real question they have after seeing the personal version work is some flavor of: *can this work for my team without leaking my private notes into it?* The answer is yes, but it is a different install with four pre-decisions baked in. This skill explains those decisions in plain language, figures out which ones matter for the user's specific team, and points them to the next step. ## Trigger phrases Activate when the user says any of these (or something close): - "How do I add my team to this without mixing in my personal stuff?" - "Optimize this for my company" - "What does the team version look like?" - "Can my team use this?" - "I want to install this for my whole company" - "How does this work with multiple people?" ## What to do ### Step 1 — Locate the for-teams folder The vault should have ai-brain-starter installed. Find the for-teams f
