# Multi-Location Brand SEO
The core tension: you need a page per location for local visibility, and a page per location is how sites accumulate hundreds of near-identical pages that Google treats as scaled content.
Resolving that is most of the work. The rest is Business Profile management at scale, which is unglamorous and matters more than the website.
## The architecture
```
/locations/ Hub. All locations, searchable, mapped
/locations/manchester/ City hub, if you have several sites there
/locations/manchester/deansgate The individual location page
```
**One page per real location.** Not per postcode, not per neighbourhood you'd like to serve. A location page for a place you have no premises in is a service-area page, and it needs to earn its existence differently. See below.
**City hubs only where you have multiple sites in that city.** Otherwise they're a thin layer between the hub and the location.
## Making location pages genuinely different
This is the whole discipline. A location page needs enough that's specific to that site that find-and-replace couldn't produce it.

| The actual staff at that site, named, with photos | Service list |
| Photos of that specific location | Brand imagery |
| Reviews from that location's customers | Company history |
| Parking, transport, access details for that site | Booking
