# Frontend Salary Calculator Uses the same static tier ladder as OnlyFrontendJobs (`salary-config.ts`, 2025–26). Collect: primary stack, years of **production** frontend, role level if they have one, where they live, where the company pays from (if known), company name, current CTC (optional), employee vs contract. 2. Map seniority and region with the OFJ rules. Say the mapping out loud. 3. Pick a tier from the company name if it is in the examples list. If unknown, use **Product / enterprise (tier3)** and say you defaulted. 4. Apply the tech multiplier. Show the math. 5. Give min–max. India in LPA. Never write ₹40K LPA. 6. If they gave current CTC: compare to the midpoint only (under / around / above). No fake percentile. 7. Contract: say contractor rate is roughly `(salary / 1800) × 1.3–1.5` and that OFJ's ladder is employee CTC, not contract. 8.
