# gat-scaffold — design docs → Godot project skeleton
Request: $ARGUMENTS
Creates the engine-side skeleton so `/gat-implement` has a real project to build into. This
is the bridge from GAT's document world (`design/`, `production/`) to a running Godot project.
Read from the knowledge base before deciding structure (paths under `knowledge/architecture/core/`):
- `core/project-structure.md` — folder layout
- `core/macro-design.md` + `core/principles.md` — module framework
- `core/data-driven-design.md` / `core/domain-driven-design.md` — paradigm choice
- `core/asset-conventions.md` — asset registry + data isolation
- `core/data-files.md` — config/data formats
These 10 `core/` references are universal and always active. System-specific references
(`modules/*`) are pulled in on demand — you set that up in step 0 below.
## Procedure
0. **Initialize the architecture knowledge for THIS game.** Don't carry all 34 references —
activate only what this game needs. From `design/gdd/systems-index.md` (and `gat.config.yaml`),
list the game's systems (skill, combat, ai, narrative, pcg, mod, …) and flags (multiplayer +
style, performance_critical, shipping), then (`$GAT_HOME` = toolkit path from `.gat/gat.env`):
