# Anti-Slop Review ## Overview A pass/fail review for published content, run before it ships under someone's name. The 17 checks below come from auditing real agency-written drafts, where the same handful of patterns showed up in every single piece. This complements [stop-slop](../stop-slop/SKILL.md), which works at the sentence level. This skill works at the level of the whole draft and the whole batch, where the expensive failures live: a piece can be clean line by line and still say nothing, or pass alone and fail as part of a repetitive set. Announce at start: "Running anti-slop review." Fill in [templates/brand-profile.md](../../templates/brand-profile.md) first. Several checks need to know your channels, your subject matter, and what you are allowed to claim. Without it, checks 5, 6, 16, and 17 have nothing to test against. ## When to use - Reviewing a draft from an agency, freelancer, or model before it ships - Reviewing a batch of posts written to one brief - Writing new content for a named spokesperson - Repurposing an article into a post for a different channel or persona ## Core checks Run every draft through all 17. Quote the offending line when a check fails. Never just name the category, because a category name reads as taste and a quoted line reads as evidence. ### Structure and substance 1. **Binary contrast tic.** Scan for "X isn't Y, it's Z" / "not X... Y instead" / "X. That's Y." / any sentence pairing a before/after or a negated-then-affirmed
