# Obsidian Study Guide Builder
Turn a course's raw material into a polished, deeply interlinked Obsidian vault:
**atomic notes** (one per term, one per formula), **connective lecture notes** that
tell a problem→solution story, full **navigation/MOC** scaffolding, **readable
formatting** (spacing + callouts), and **visuals** (diagrams + plotted curves +
ASCII grids + animated GIFs) everywhere they teach.
Battle-tested playbook — every phase and every "Hard-won rule" encodes a mistake
already made and fixed. Follow phases in order. Re-run `verify.py` after EVERY
mutating pass, not just at the end.

> animated GIFs, ~340 files, ~5 MB total, ~2,800 internal links, 0 broken.

> 8-lecture + 8-recitation LLM/AI-agents course → 623 term notes, 57 formula
> notes, 16 lecture notes (250–450 lines each, full teaching walkthroughs), 4
> index/Home, one animated GIF per term (~13 MB), ~380 inline bold-term links
> added, 0 broken. (Template-path GIFs = ~15–20 shapes re-labelled per term; use
> the LLM-authored path for genuinely bespoke per-concept animations.)
## Working mode
**A FRESH BUILD MUST RUN IN PLAN MODE.** Building a vault from scratch is a large,
many-hour, many-file, token-heavy job — never start writing notes off an assumed
spec. The moment you det
