# Feedback Synthesis: from raw input to a theme a gate will accept Feedback synthesis usually fails in one of three ways. The loudest customer becomes a theme on their own. Quotes get grouped by topic instead of by the problem behind them, so "reporting" becomes a theme and tells nobody what to build. Or the output is a deck of quotes with no counts, so nobody can tell a pattern from an anecdote.
