# All-Source Fusion
## Purpose
The situation room. One signal is an anecdote. Three correlated signals from independent disciplines is intelligence.
This skill fuses; it does not collect. Its job is to take whatever evidence exists — sweep outputs, pasted findings, attached documents — run the independence test, stack confidence, check commitment, keep conflicts as conflicts, and end on *responses* rather than findings.
It exists because of one specific, common, expensive error: **six sources that collapse to two disciplines**. A press release and its coverage. An analyst note and the vendor blog quoting it. Three articles sourced to the same unnamed executive. Every one of those looks like corroboration in a table and is a single origin wearing several hats. Stacking confidence before collapsing them is how competitive decks lie by accident, with real citations attached.
Motion: **inventory → independence test → cluster into stories → stack confidence → commitment check → verdicts, responses, gaps.**
## When to Use It
Use it when evidence is already in hand and someone has to decide what is actionable. Use it to test whether an announced move is real. Use it on a quarterly cadence as the standing threat assessment. Use it when two sources disagree and someone is about to split the difference.
Do not use it when:
- **Only one discipline holds signals.** A single-discipline story cannot rate above a watch item, and running fusion on it produces ceremony. Say so and re
