# SocialSeal Competitor Content Analysis ## Overview SocialSeal can show which competitor, creator, or category videos surface for tracked searches. This skill turns those surfaced examples into reusable content DNA: hooks, first frames, shots, useful details, formats, and viewer jobs. The deliverable is not “competitor posts are doing well.” The deliverable is a pattern library the brand can adapt. Measurement is a different job: if the request is to measure or compare visibility — discoverability, keyword coverage, share of voice, or rank statistics for a brand vs a competitor — route to `socialseal-discoverability-tracking`. This skill extracts content patterns (Video DNA); it does not produce visibility metrics. When the goal is to produce content (not just analysis), route into the production engine instead of stopping at a pattern matrix: use `socialseal-reference-video-analysis` to select and analyze exemplars and `socialseal-blueprint-builder` to compile a grounded blueprint. This skill is for the strategy-side pattern read; the engine turns those patterns into briefs and evidence for editor handoffs. See `references/production-pipeline.md`. For carousels or other non-video formats, inspect the actual post/slide assets when the ranked result exposes them. If only metadata is available, label the format read metadata-only rather than inventing slide structure. Read `references/creative-production-gates.md` when the analysis will drive production. ## Inputs - en
