docs-pricing-consistencylisted

Checks every price, plan name, quota and limit quoted in your documentation against what your live pricing page actually says right now, and reports each disagreement with both sources quoted side by side. Catches the docs that still sell a plan you renamed, a free tier you shrank, or a price you raised six months ago. Use when asked "do our docs still match our pricing", "did we update the docs after the price change", "why is a customer quoting an old price at us", after any pricing or packaging change, or before a launch. Reports disagreements; it does not edit pages.

# docs-pricing-consistency Pricing changes in one place and is quoted in a dozen. The pricing page gets updated the day the change ships, because someone owns it and revenue depends on it. The eleven mentions scattered through the docs — the quickstart that says "the free tier includes 5,000 requests", the FAQ answer naming a plan that no longer exists, the limits table in an API reference — are updated by whoever happens to remember. A stale price in documentation is not a typo. It is a promise a reader will hold you to, and one they will find *after* they have decided to trust you. The support ticket that starts "your docs say it's $19" is expensive twice: someone has to answer it, and the answer is that your own documentation was wrong. This skill reads what your live pricing page says today and every price-like claim your docs make, and reports where they disagree. **Mode: audit.** It reads both sides and reports. Fixing a wrong price is a one-line edit a human should make deliberately — quietly rewriting money is not something an audit should do on its own. ## When to run - **Immediately after any pricing or packaging change.** This is the run that pays for the skill. The change ships, the pricing page updates, and the docs drift the same day. - Before a launch or a campaign that will drive people into the docs. - When support sees a customer quoting a number nobody recognises. - Quarterly, as a floor — quotas and limits drift more quietly than headline price
