# Merchandising and Pricing
Turns order history and cost data into merchandising and pricing calls: what to bundle, what to upsell, whether prices are competitive, and whether margins still hold after a cost change.
## When to use
- User wants new collections or bundles based on what customers actually buy together
- User wants a post-purchase upsell offer designed for a product
- User wants their prices checked against named competitors
- User wants to know how a tariff, duty, or supplier cost increase hits margin per SKU
- User says things like "build me a bundle," "are we priced too high," or "what if costs go up 10%"
## What you'll need
- Shopify store connected, with cost-per-item set where margin matters (or a cost sheet the user shares)
- At least a few months of order history for bundle and upsell analysis
- A margin floor or minimum acceptable margin per SKU or category
- For competitor pricing: a list of competitor product URLs or prices to check
- For tariff/cost checks: the specific new cost, duty, or tariff to model
## How to do it
1. Connect to Shopify and pull order history for the period the user specifies (default: last 3-6 months).
2. For bundles/collections: find products frequently bought together, propose bundle combinations or collection groupings with a suggested price, and check each proposal against cost data so it doesn't undercut profit.
