Memories carry an epistemic class — fact, observation, or decision — that shapes when they surface. Query memories (query) before answering project questions or researching workflows — not only before modifying files. Store after significant discoveries. All tools accept an optional `project` parameter (absolute path or 16-char project ID) for cross-project memory access.
